A man who raises goats has told the Hernando County Sheriff's Office that his neighbor's dogs _ a black Labrador and two Dalmatians _ have killed 37 of his horned animals. Carlos Rodriguez of 17121 Benes Roush Road told deputies that Robin Suters' dogs killed the goats in the last two weeks. In the 24 hours before Rodriguez called the Sheriff's Office on Thursday, Rodriguez said, the dogs had killed six goats and injured 12. Suters told the Sheriff's Office that her dogs would never harm livestock. A sheriff's deputy said he saw six dead goats and 12 others injured from marks consistent with those inflicted by dogs, according to a sheriff's report. Sheriff's spokeswoman Deanna Dammer said Rodriguez was referred to the state attorney's office to file a complaint. Neither resident returned a reporter's phone calls Friday afternoon.
