Notes: Figure 8 races are one of the few events popular with both regular fans and occasional spectators, so tonight should be a treat. The main feature will be 50 laps rather than the usual 15. If you are not a regular, remember to keep at least one eye on the intersection, where the drivers try to get through crossing traffic. Hopefully, there will be a lot of close calls and no serious injuries. The No. 0 of Jimmy Thompson, a multiple championship winner, will be one to watch. Some of the other daredevils include No. 7 Art Calkins, No. 10 "Wild Bill" Revard, No. 05 Phil Wickman, No. 6 Chet Senokossoff, No. 13 Mike Leacock, No. 76 Doug Catalano, No. 18 Shannan Lengell, No. 5 John Baranauskas, and No. 11 Ron Davis. Also, Late Models are back tonight. Fan Participation races return this week, and if you intend to participate, remember to bring a helmet, seatbelts and clear title to the car. _ BOB BOYLE
