COLLEGE GRADUATES

James "Jay" Bailey received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Shorter College in Rome, Ga. He graduated magna cum laude with a 3.86 grade-point average. He received a National Collegiate Business Merit Award and a Wall Street Journal Award. Bailey was a member of the Alpha Chi Academic Honor Society, president of the Shorter Relations Society and a member of the Shorter College tennis team. He married Kathy Awtry on Saturday and works for Life of Georgia as a field management associate. Bailey, a 1992 graduate of Hernando High School, is the son of Ann and Tony Bailey of Brooksville.

Kerri Sue Kelly received a bachelor's degree from Lake Superior State University at Sault Sainte Marie, Mich. She majored in exercise science, concentrating on athletic training, and minored in recreation studies. She will intern at Cottage Hospital in Grosse Pointe, Mich. Kelly, who attended Lake Superior State on a softball athletic scholarship and received numerous softball awards and honors, is now coaching softball. She is the daughter of Sue Kelly of Spring Hill and Bernard Kelly of Murrells Inlet, S.C.

Shawn Bryan McNulty graduated last month with an associate's degree from Pasco-Hernando Community College. He plans to attend the University of South Florida, where he will major in English and minor in drama. A 1993 graduate of Central High School, McNulty is the son of Nancy and Jim McNulty of Brooksville.

Christopher Davis Reiter received a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Auburn University in Auburn, Ala. He graduated magna cum laude. Reiter will pursue his master's degree and teach on a fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Reiter, a graduate of Springstead High School, is the son of Jean and David Vincenzo and grandson of Albert Kozsuch, all of Spring Hill.

Elizabeth Anne Seitz received her doctorate in music history and literature from Boston University. Seitz received a bachelor's degree from Brown University, Providence, R.I., in 1982. She earned a master's degree from Boston University after studying there and in Europe. In August, she will join the staff at Washington University in St. Louis as a professor of musicology. Seitz is the daughter of the late Virginia Seitz of Massapequa Park, N.Y., and Roland Seitz of Spring Hill.

Diana Lynn Spann received a bachelor's degree from Saint Leo College, where she majored in business. She graduated summa cum laude. Spann is a personnel specialist with the James A. Haley VA Hospital in Tampa and will begin Saint Leo's MBA program in September. She is the daughter of Barbara and Ernest Spann of Brooksville.

Jennifer L. Walter received a bachelor's degree in social work from the University of South Florida. A 1991 graduate of Springstead High School, Walter is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Walter of Spring Hill.

Tammy Jo Woodall received an associate's degree May 3 from Pasco-Hernando Community College. She will begin classes this fall at the University of Central Florida, where she will enter the radiology program. A 1992 graduate of Springstead High School, Woodall is the daughter of Nancy D. and J. Reese Woodall of Spring Hill.
