Weather: Overcast and cool. Afternoon temperature on Centre Court reached a high of 80 degrees.

Attendance: 32,396. Last year's sixth day attendance was 31,736.

Men's singles: No. 1 Andre Agassi, No. 3 Boris Becker and No. 7 Wayne Ferreira advanced.

Women's singles: No. 1 Steffi Graf, No. 4 Jana Novotna, No. 6 Kimiko Date, No. 7 Lindsay Davenport and No. 13 Mary Joe Fernandez advanced.

Upset: Ines Gorrochategui defeated No. 10 Natasha Zvereva.

Stat of the Day: Dick Norman's four-set victory over Todd Woodbridge made him the first Lucky Loser to reach the fourth round of a Grand Slam tournament since John McCurdy did it at Wimbledon in 1983. Norman got this far by beating three former Wimbledon champions: Pat Cash, Stefan Edberg and Woodbridge, a three-time doubles titlist. Next up is three-time champ Boris Becker in Monday's fourth round.

Quote of the Day: "You're the most corrupt official in the game and you can't do that." _ Jeff Tarango to Bruno Rebeuh, the French umpire later accused by the American of match-fixing.

Today: No matches scheduled.
