The infatuation with dinosaurs is widespread and prolonged: from toddler-favorite Barney, performing daily at Universal Studios Florida, to the new book and movie sequels to Jurassic Park to major exhibits at museums in Atlanta and New York. Shown here is the fossil skeleton of nuerosaurus changensis, the largest of the 75 fossils on display at Fernbank Museum of Natural History in Atlanta. The exhibition items were gathered in fossil-rich areas of Inner Mongola, where many finds include the majority of a creature's fossilized bones still together or intact. The collection is on display until Dec. 31. For information, phone (404) 378-0127.
