The Tampa Fire Department tries out the new Air Rescue and Fire Fighting truck Wednesday at Station 22 at Tampa International Airport. The $332,000 vehicle, which can travel up to 69 mph, was purchased with airport improvement money. It carries a two-member crew, 3,170 gallons of water, 410 gallons of foam concentrate, rescue equipment and a generator.
