What city has had three major-league franchises this century without having more than one team at the same time?
Milwaukee. During 1901 the city was home to an American League team that moved to St. Louis the next year, becoming the Browns, the forerunner of today's Orioles. The city had the Braves from 1953 to 1965 and has had the Brewers since 1970.
