ELVIN, MILDRED VIRGINIA, 79, of Port Richey, died Wednesday (July 17, 1996) at home. Born in Goshen, N.Y., she came here 15 years ago from Riverdale, N.J. She was Episcopalian. Survivors include her husband, John W.; two sons, John Jr., West Milford, N.J., and Keith, Pequannock, N.J.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. GAGEBY, EMMA RUTH, 78, of Holiday, died Wednesday (July 17, 1996). She came here 10 years ago from her native Minneapolis. She was Lutheran. Survivors include three sons, Wayne, Steven and David; two brothers, Arnie and Lloyd Duoos; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. North/Meadowlawn, New Port Richey.

KUCEK, EILEEN M., 76, of Holiday, died Thursday (July 18, 1996) at Tarpon Bayou Center, Tarpon Springs. Born in Bronx, N.Y., she came here 10 years ago from West New York, N.J. She was Catholic. Survivors include three daughters, Marie Creswell, Carmel, N.Y., Dianne Burke, Poughquag, N.Y., and Joan Mulligan, New Port Richey; five brothers, George, David, Jack, Tom and Al Lawton; two sisters, Grace O'Donnell and Jane Menter; and six grandchildren. PELOS, WALDY, 76, of New Port Richey, died Thursday (July 18, 1996) at Columbia Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point. Born in Trieste, Italy, he came here 11 years ago from Matawan, N.J., where he was a retired supervisor for Anheiser-Busch and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Teresa; a son, Louis, Floral Park, N.Y.; a daughter, Lorraine Williams, Tampa; a brother, Marcello, Massapequa, N.Y.; and one grandchild. North/Meadowlawn, New Port Richey.

PULEO, JOSEPH, 76, of Port Richey, died Saturday (July 20, 1996) at Columbia New Port Richey Hospital. Born in Carini, Sicily, he came here 17 years ago from East Islip, N.Y., and was a retired mechanic for the Hertz Truck Leasing Corp. and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, a life member of VFW Post 6180 and a member of the Regency Park Security Patrol, all of Port Richey. Survivors include his wife, Anne; a son, Joseph, Jr., Marlborough, N.H.; two brothers, Vincent, Port Jefferson, N.Y., and Gaspar, Selden, N.Y.; a sister, Anna Engravido, Staten Island, N.Y.; and three grandchildren. SOBEL, EDWARD LEE, 46, of New Port Richey, died Thursday (July 18, 1996) at home. Born in Detroit, he came here eight years ago from Dearborn Heights, Mich., and was a men's clothing salesman and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He attended St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Corinne and John Pudysz, Holiday; a brother, David Sobel, New Port Richey; and an aunt, Rose Kulas, Taylor, Mich. Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home, Holiday.

SWINDELL, LORRAYNE, 77, of New Port Richey, died Thursday (July 18, 1996) at Columbia Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point. Born in Leonard, Ark., she came here 12 years ago from Royal Oak, Mich., where she was a retired manager for Top Value Redemption Center. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Harold Craft, Houston; and a brother, LeRoy Cruce, Knob, Ark. George B. Morgan Funeral Home, New Port Richey.

TRITTO, SAMUEL, 76, of Hudson, died Friday (July 19, 1996) at Columbia Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point. Born in Yonkers, N.Y., he came here 16 years ago from Westchester, N.Y., where he was retired after 40 years as a construction foreman. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Jean; a son, Joseph, Westchester; a daughter, Judy Jackson, Wilmington, Del.; three sisters, Beatrice Janacone and Lucy Russo, both of Yonkers, N.Y., and Mary Amurso, Mamaroneck, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
