PADRES-ORIOLES

San Diego is moving closer to a deal that would send two pitchers to Baltimore for outfielder Bobby Bonilla, the Los Angeles Times

reported, quoting an unidentified Padres official. The trade might be contingent on one sending first baseman Eddie Murray from the Indians to his original team, the Orioles, and increase the chance of one sending Cubs first baseman Mark Grace to Cleveland.

ANGELS: After his release Friday, Tim Wallach went around the Anaheim Stadium clubhouse and got the players to sign a lineup card. The five-time NL All-Star, who told reporters he probably is done with baseball at 38, also autographed items for his former teammates.
