BEAL, ROBERT A., 66, of Riverview, died Saturday (July 20, 1996) at Columbia Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Dorchester, Mass., and had lived in the Tampa Bay area for two years. He was a retired letter carrier and an Army veteran. He was a Protestant. Survivors include his wife, Maria, Riverview; four sons, Robert F., Fort Bragg, N.C., Richard A., Fort Campbell, Ky., David A., Tyler, Mich., and Kurt, Niagara Falls, N.Y.; a daughter, Ingrid Brymer, Niagara Falls; three sisters, Elizabeth Brymer, Quincy, Mass., Bernice Hicks, Colebrook, N.H., and Janette Thompson, Pikesville, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. BERG, ROSE F., 85, of Tampa, died Saturday (July 20, 1996) in Tampa. She was born in Windsor, Ky., and moved to Tampa in 1948 from Savannah, Ga. She was a crossing guard and a Baptist. Survivors include a son, Donald W., Sacramento, Calif.; two daughters, Donna Rae Morris and Lee Ann M. Carrera, both of Tampa; two brothers, Henry and Louie Foley, both of Champaign, Ill.; a sister, Eula Koch, Savoy, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. NELSON, ETHLYN RUBY, 80, of Plant City, died Saturday (July 20, 1996) at South Florida Baptist Hospital. She was a native of Grafton, Iowa, and moved to the area in 1960 from Kensett, Iowa. She was a homemaker and a member of Lord of Life Evangelical Lutheran Church. Survivors include a son, Warren, Malabar, a sister, Lorraine Thompson, Plant City; and two step-grandchildren. RABBITT, GLADYS C., 91, of Redington Beach, formerly of Tampa, died Friday (July 19, 1996) at Columbia Brandon Regional Medical Center. She was born in Bowling Green, Ky., and moved to Redington Beach from Tampa 30 years ago. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was a member of Life Masters and the American Contract Bridge League. Survivors include a son, James H. Boggs, Brandon; a daughter, Marian B. Pearson, Brandon; a brother, A. Ross Cleman, Brandon; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
