DOWNAM, RICHARD, 64, of Holiday, died Saturday (July 20, 1996) at home. He came here 19 years ago from his native Marion, Ind., and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a Methodist. Survivors include his wife, Mary Kay; three sons, Darrell Downam, Boise, Idaho, and Kurtis and Steven Swafford, both of Anderson, Ind.; four daughters, Lynn Knight, Marion, Carol Davenport, Swayze, Ind., Debbie Haley, Enid, Okla., and Karen Swafford, New Port Richey; a sister, Phyllis Cantrell, Charleston, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. North/Meadowlawn, New Port Richey.

SCHREIBER, EDWIN C., 82, of Port Richey, died Saturday (July 20, 1996) at home. Born in Youngstown, Ohio, he was a 20-year winter resident here from Niles, Ohio, and a retired supervisor for U.S. Steel. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II and a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Niles, and the Eighth Air Force Historical Society. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a son, James, Heath, Ohio; a brother, Donald, Denver; and three grandchildren. Arlington Funeral Home, Port Richey.

WHITEHURST, JESSIE FLORENCE, 95, of Holiday, died Saturday (July 20, 1996) at Harborside Healthcare, Palm Harbor. Born in Liverpool, England, she came here four years ago from Virginia Beach, Va., and was a retired assembly line worker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Holiday. Survivors include a son, Marshall, Quincy, Mass.; a daughter, Geraldine Bonnette, Holiday; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Padgett Funeral Home, Holiday.
