COWAN, KATHLEEN M., 89, of Inverness, died Sunday (July 21, 1996) at Avante of Inverness Nursing Center. Born in Madison, N.C., she came here 21 years ago from St. Petersburg. She was a retired clerk for Belk Lindsey and a member of First Church of Christ, Scientist. Survivors include a son, Robert F. Jr., Tallahassee; a daughter, Joan Marie, Baltimore; and one grandchild. DONOHUE, JOSEPH A. "JOE," 79, of Beverly Hills, died Sunday (July 21, 1996). Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he came here 17 years ago from Levittown, N.Y. He was a foreman in the construction industry and a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Beverly Hills. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a child actor in silent movies from 1922 to 1929 in New York. He was a member of the Irish-American Social Club, the Sunshine Club, the Beverly Hills Civic Association and Harry F. Nesbitt Post 10087, all of Beverly Hills, the Catholic Golden Age, New York, and the National Association of Retired Persons. Survivors include his wife, Mary A.; a son, Dennis, Stony Brook, N.Y.; two daughters, Patricia Saddlemire, Inverness, and Mary Caron, Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. STAMBAUGH, EDNA MAE, 73, of Timber Pines, Spring Hill, died Saturday (July 20, 1996) at Columbia Regional Medical Center at Oak Hill. Born in Harrisburg, Pa., she came here 12 years ago from Pennsylvania. She was a secretary for the Naval Supply Depot, Mechanicsburg, Pa., and was Methodist. Survivors include her husband, Lloyd; three sons, Gary E., Hernando Beach, Scott D., Enola, Pa., and Jack, Spring Hill; a sister, Edith Aldridge, Harrisburg; and four grandchildren. ZALONIS, ROBERTA J., 67, of Spring Hill, died Saturday (July 20, 1996) at Columbia Regional Medical Center at Oak Hill. She came here one year ago from her native Meriden, Conn. She was a retired registered nursing supervisor and a member of First United Methodist Church, Spring Hill. Survivors include her husband, Walter; a son, Ronald, Massachusetts; a daughter, Lynne, Norwalk, Conn.; and a brother, Allen Minkwitz, Pocono, Pa. Turner Cremation and Memorial Chapel, U.S. 19, Spring Hill.
