LATE MONDAY: The U.S. men's basketball team was much better than earlier in the week, half as dominant as four years ago.

Charles Barkley threw no elbows this time, but the United States tossed its talent around and overpowered Angola 87-54 in its second game of the Olympics.

Once again, though, the Dream Team failed to reach 100 points _ the Americans beat Argentina 96-68 Saturday night _ and the 33-point victory margin was almost half as large as the original Dream Team's 68-point margin of victory over Angola in Barcelona.
