ANNIVERSARIES

The Bondarenkas

Frank and Amelia Bondarenka of Holiday celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a party hosted by their daughter, Assunta Perri, and her husband, Joseph Jr., at Lomberdozzi's Restaurant in Pittsburgh. Guests included nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.

The couple also renewed their wedding vows at Immaculate Conception Church in Pittsburgh, where they were married June 15, 1946.

Their son, Francis, lives in Hurley, N.Y. They have six grandchildren, and a son, Pasquale, who died when he was 1{.

Before retiring, Bondarenka was employed by the James and Lauglin Steel Mill. She is a homemaker.

They are members of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Holiday. He is a member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans. She belongs to the Ladies Auxiliary.

The Corsers

PORT RICHEY _ Viola and James Corser of Port Richey celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception and dinner at Calvary Bible Chapel in Toledo, Ohio, where they also renewed their wedding vows.

The event was hosted by their children: Jean Crisp and her husband, Austin, of Sylvania, Ohio; Thomas and his wife, Barbara, of Weston, Ohio; Michael and his wife, Connie, also of Sylvania; and Debra Crochet and her husband, Glenn, of Houma, La. They have 12 grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and six stepgreat-grandchildren. They are also the parents of the late Robert Corser.

The couple married June 25, 1946, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Toledo. They were teenage sweethearts.

Before retiring, he owned and operated a dry cleaning business in Cincinnati and later was employed by General Mills. She was district manager of the wigs and accessories department for Kmart in the Toledo area.

They are members of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Bayonet Point, where they also renewed their vows, and the Palm Terrace Civic Association. She is a member of the Ladies Auxiliary; he is a member of the Men's Club. He is an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus. Their hobby is square dancing. They participate in competitions.
