IN METRO SECTION // Two workers hurt in blast at Tarpon firm

One Pasco County man was set aflame and another was knocked unconscious Monday when a fuel tank they were cutting with an acetylene torch exploded at the Hurt Scrap Metal and Salvage company on Anclote Road.

The two men, Michael Bear, 31, of New Port Richey and David Lindenmayer, 28, of Holiday were taken to Tampa General Hospital. Bear was in critical but stable condition late Monday in the hospital's burn unit. Lindenmayer, was in serious condition.
