NOGUES, AMBROSE "GALLEGO," 72, of Tampa, died Saturday (March 15, 1997) in Tampa. Born in Tampa, he was a lifelong resident. He was a mechanic for Pan American Linen Supply for 25 years and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II; he received a Purple Heart for wounds received during the occupation of Eniwetok Atoll, Marshall Islands. He was also a member of Angus R. Goss Detachment Marine Corps League. STEGALL, ERNEST LESTER, 67, of Plant City, died Saturday (March 15, 1997) in Plant City. He was born in Boston, Ga., and moved to Plant City from Georgia. He was retired from Pauls Crate House and served in the U.S. Army 34th Infantry during the Korean War.
