Largo and Osceola High schools have scheduled evening programs to help students and parents with registration for high school classes.
Parents of eighth-graders who will be entering Osceola High are invited to a PTSA/SAC meeting at 7:30 p.m. April 1 in the media center at the school at 9751 98th St. N, Seminole.
"We hope to answer questions for parents prior to student registration, to increase parent involvement in planning high school courses and meeting student career goals," said assistant principal Margie Sundstrom.
Sundstrom said counselors will be present to review the registration process and answer questions about courses and student activities.
Largo High School's PTSA will sponsor a program on "4x4 Questions and Answers" at 7 p.m. today in the media center at the school at 410 Missouri Ave. Several high schools, including Largo, Tarpon Springs and Seminole, and the Seminole Vocational Technical Education Center, plan to change from a six-period schedule to a 4x4 schedule this fall.
