Question: Whatever happened to Robby Benson?

Answer: Benson is a busy director for several NBC comedies, including Friends and The Naked Truth.

The actor began directing TV shows three years ago when longtime friend Burt Reynolds hired him to direct on the Evening Shade series. Last year, Benson directed all 24 episodes of Ellen.

Benson also is the voice of the Beast in Disney's Beauty and the Beast and a sequel to be released this Christmas.

He and wife, Karla DeVito, a former Meat Loaf lead singer, have a daughter, Lyric, and son, Zephyr.

Question: My friend and I are huge fans of animated cartoons. He stumped me with one: Who are the Hair Bear Bunch?

Answer: They are three bears who were featured in a short-lived CBS cartoon from 1971 to 1972. The Hanna-Barbera cartoon starred Hair Bear, Square Bear and Bubi, according to The Complete Encyclopedia of Television Programs by Vincent Terrace.

The bears lived at Cave Block 9 of the Wonderland Zoo. Voice performers were Daws Butler (Hair), Paul Winchell (Square) and Bill Calloway (Bubi).
