Book discussion scheduled at library

James Redfield's The Celestine Prophecy will be discussed at 2 p.m. today at the Riverview Branch Library, 10509 Riverview Drive. Redfield's spiritual mystery is about a travel to the Andes Mountains and through ancient ruins in search of a manuscript containing the nine insights of human spiritual awareness. Senior Friends hold insurance seminar


Men's Club to meet this morning

The Sun City Center Men's Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. today in the Community Hall, 1910 S Pebble Beach Blvd. The Men's Club continually participates in many community projects, such as its recent donation of Lifeline medical alert systems to more than 100 local residents.

Celebrating its 35th year as one of Sun City Center's largest and oldest service organizations, the club offers membership to all local male residents. For information, call 634-3664.


Inkwood Books schedules book signing

Inkwood Books will present Dr. Andrew Weil, best-selling author of Spontaneous Healing, to sign his new book, Eight Weeks To Optimum Health, at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Friday Morning Musicale, 809 Horatio St. A Harvard-trained physician who champions integrative medicine and alternative healing, Weil will be signing books only purchased from Inkwood.
