The office manager at Gulfview Motors is accused of bilking the car dealership of more than $47,000 since October, according to Pasco County Sheriff's Office reports.
Patricia E. Perkins, 49, was booked into the county jail Tuesday on charges of scheming to defraud and grand theft. She was being held Wednesday on $10,000 bail.
Detective Dan Woolsey said Perkins entered phony amounts on the dealership's accounting ledgers and pocketed the difference at least 40 times since October.
Hidden cameras captured her in the act Monday and Tuesday, according to reports.
In an interview, Perkins said she took the money to help her daughter, who she said is addicted to crack cocaine, according to arrest reports.
