Preparing the nursery

Members of the Spring Hill Garden Club repotted plants and spruced up their nursery on Kenlake Avenue in Spring Hill recently to prepare for their annual plant sale next month. The money raised will help maintain landscaped entrances into the city on U.S. 19 at Northcliffe Boulevard and Spring Hill Drive. Sale hours will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 4 and 5. Meanwhile, volunteers at a site on Parker Avenue in Spring Hill are building a new nursery and botanical garden on 4.8 acres of land that was donated by the county.
