Seniors from Crystal River High School, busy with studying for end-of-the-year tests, were asked: "Do you think you get enough sleep and, if not, how do you think it affects the way you function the next day?"

JASON ALLEN, 17: "No, I don't think I get enough sleep and I think the next morning it affects how much attention you pay to your first period class."

JASON CALODNEY, 18: "I don't get enough sleep. In the morning it's really hard for me to wake up, but once I get going, I'm okay for the rest of the day. I do get tired around third period at 11. It's the hardest class for me to pay attention."

CHARLA COPP, 17: "No, I don't think I get enough sleep and it affects me most around first period, because we get to school so early _ 7:45."

BECKY GOTBERG, 17: "No, I don't get enough sleep. I only get about six hours and I need about 10 hours to function properly. Around the end of the day I get really tired and it's hard to stay on task and do simple things. You don't have any energy."
