Two meetings are scheduled in which local agencies plan to hear public comment about the location proposed for a high school in Lutz.
5:30 p.m. Monday before the Hillsborough County City-County Planning Commission.
4 p.m. April 2 before the Hillsborough County Commission.
Both meetings are scheduled in the second floor commission chambers in the County Center, 601 E Kennedy Blvd., Tampa.
The Hillsborough County School Board has voted to buy 80 acres for a high school at Livingston Avenue and Max Smith Road in eastern Lutz. But it first must obtain the county government's opinion on whether the site complies with the county's long-range land regulations.
Both the Planning Commission and the County Commission are to vote on the question at their meetings. The Planning Commission's opinion is an advisory one for the County Commission.
