Cleaners get cleaned out

McSherry's Dry Cleaners was hit last week by a man displaying a handgun in his waistband _ similar to the six dry cleaner robberies recently reported in south Tampa.

The man came into McSherry's at 11612 N Dale Mabry Hwy about 11:10 a.m. on March 13, said Capt. Roger Dixon of the Hillsborough Sheriff's Office. He showed a brown-handled gun, grabbed money from the register and fled north on foot.

He was described as a white male in his late 20s, 5-feet-9-inches tall and about 140 pounds, with short, brown wavy hair and a medium build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black T-shirt and gray pants. Clerks say the robber was missing some teeth.

Brothers arrested on drug charges

TOWN 'N COUNTRY _ Marijuana, guns and cash were recovered last week from a Twelve Oaks home.

Narcotics detectives say Casey Martin Hoch, 20, and his brother Bradley Roy Hoch, 17, sold drugs out of their home when their parents were not around.

Armed with a warrant, deputies on March 12 searched the home at 6728 Twelve Oaks Boulevard. They found 136 grams of marijuana, 100 steroid pills, $1,800 in cash, a 9mm handgun and a .357-caliber revolver, according to a sheriff's office report.

The brothers were charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bradley was also charged with possession of steroids and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.

During the arrest another teen, Quentin Maurice Crecy, 19, drove up to the home with 2.6 grams of marijuana and paraphernalia, the report said. He was arrested.
