Herb Hiller, a nationally recognized authority on ecotourism, will speak Wednesday evening at a meeting of the Gulf Coast Conservancy. Hiller's articles on ecotourism have appeared in Atlantic Monthly, National Geographic Traveler, Caribbean Travel and Life and Florida Trend. He is chairman of the Society of American Travel Writers.
He will speak Wednesday on the topic of "Preserving for Profit: How Ecotourism Helps Promote and Conserve the Real Florida." The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Aripeka Community Club on Osowaw Boulevard and is open to the public. For information, call 686-1519.
