Feeney's teeny-weeny mistake

State Rep. Tom Feeney, R-Oviedo, who came within a whisker of getting elected lieutenant governor in 1994, was arguing to the House the other day why schools should post America's historic documents in their classrooms.

"There are many students who could not identify Thomas Paine as the man who said, "Give me liberty or give me death,' " Feeney said.

So much the better, since it was Patrick Henry who said it.
