A beach outing

A smiling group of St. Petersburg's younger set, circa 1916, is shown at the beach. The daring lady on the Indian motorcycle is showing a lot of leg. The woman in the middle, with both hands holding onto her hat, sits on the auto. Next, driving the right-hand drive Rambler Run-A-Bout, is Florence Cole. Peeking out from behind her is her brother, Ralph Cole, who owned a repair garage on Baum Avenue around Ninth Street N. The Run-A-Bout was priced at $750. They were made by the Jeffrey family in Kenosha, Wis. The successor was the Nash Rambler.
