Easter parades in _ just a bit early

Easter came early this year to a Palm Harbor preschool. Two classes at the Lutheran Church of Palm Harbor had their parades, hunted for eggs and wore fancy hats Friday, a week early, because the preschool is closed this week for spring break. More than two dozen children participated in the fun. The children paraded and had their picture taken, then they entertained their parents and other relatives with songs they learned in class.

Dressed for the pre-Easter party Friday, Jessica Jundt tips just like a sturdy, little teapot during the singing of I'm a Little Teapot with her fellow 3-year-olds at the Lutheran Church of Palm Harbor preschool.

With an egg in hand, Alex Rawls, 3, left, looks for more Easter eggs during a hunt at the church on Nebraska Avenue. Matthew Leonard, above, holds onto his Easter hat as he and others in his prekindergarten class scramble for eggs.
