BELL, DONALD HAROLD, 84, of Lake Panasoffkee, formerly of Tampa, died Sunday (March 23, 1997) at Florida Hospital South, Orlando. Born in Clawson, Mich., he lived here before moving to Lake Panasoffkee 25 years ago. He was a retired auto mechanic at Sharp Cadillac of Tampa, a member of First United Methodist Church, Lake Panasoffkee, an Army veteran of World War II, and a former member of Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club, Tampa. Survivors include his wife, Annie K.; and two brothers, James R., Ohio, and Clair B., Tampa. Charles E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness.

LANGENDORFER, J. PHILLIP, 51, of Tampa, died Tuesday (March 25, 1997) in Tampa. He was born in Redlands, Calif., and came here in 1993 from San Diego. He was the retired owner/operator of dry cleaning business. He was an Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Esther I.; a son, Michael, Odessa; a sister, Cheryl Barba, Anaheim, Calif.; and two brothers, James, Baton Rouge, La., and Daniel Langerdorfer, San Diego. MINTON, LORINE L., 84, died Tuesday (March 25, 1997) in Tampa. A homemaker, she was born in Chicago and came here in 1956 from Miami. She was a Protestant. Survivors include a daughter, Judith L. POWELL, WALTER HERBERT SR., 66, of Plant City, died Tuesday (March 25, 1997) in Tampa. A lifelong area resident, he was a dispatcher for CSX Railroad and was a member of Plant City Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Betty; four sons, Walter H. Powell II and James R. Barnett, both of Plant City, Daryl R. Barnett, Mulberry, and Gary M. Barnett, Lakeland; three daughters, Teresa Benitez and Susan Jiles, both of Plant City, and Debra Powell, Norfolk, Va.; five brothers, Rufus and Jack, both of Plant City, Kirby, Auburndale, LeRoy, Cameron, S.C., and James, Atlanta; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. RILEY, FRED A., 87, of Brooksville, formerly of Tampa, died Wednesday (Feb. 26, 1997) at home. Born in Tulsa, Okla., he lived here before moving to Brooksville two years ago. He retired as an Army captain. Survivors include a sister, Nell Balding, Bend, Ore. National Cremation Society, Brooksville.

RIVAS, JAIME, 75, of Tampa, died Tuesday (March 25, 1997) at an assisted living facility. He was born in Puerto Rico and came here in 1990 from Paterson, N.J. He was a former Macy's Department Store employee and a Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Maria Teresa; three sons, Jose R., Tampa, Jaime L., Puerto Rico, and Carlos, Florida; two daughters, Iliana and Milagros Rivas, both of Puerto Rico; a brother, Rafael, California; a sister, Rosario Rivas, Puerto Rico; and five grandchildren. SIGLER, MARY A., 66, of Inverness, formerly of Tampa, died Monday (March 24, 1997) at Seven Rivers Community Hospital, Crystal River. A Tampa native, she moved to Inverness three years ago. She was a homemaker and a Christian. Survivors include two sons, David, Inverness, and Jack, Tampa; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Strickland Funeral Home, Crystal River.
