Two men were arrested on drug charges after a Florida Highway Patrol trooper stopped them for speeding.

Jeffery Ray Kelty, 19, of 6123 Georgia Ave., and Jason Lee Landry, 18, of 6208 Massachusetts Ave., were stopped about midnight Tuesday on U.S. 19 at Hammock Road, according to FHP reports.

Inside the vehicle the trooper found marijuana, cocaine, several smoked marijuana cigarettes, rolling papers and a pipe, according to reports.

Both men admitted they were rolling a cigarette right before they were stopped, a report said. The driver, Kelty, said the cocaine was his.

Kelty was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Landry was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

They were booked into the county jail. Kelty was being held on $6,000 bail. Landry's bail was set at $1,000.
