TINA GILLEMS

COMMENT: First-team all-county. . . . Led team with average (15.5 ppg), field goals (170), free throw percentage (52), assists (120) and steals (89). . . . Able to take control of any game situation and drives the lane with authority.

COACH BOB BECKMAN SAYS: "She is our big name. She's the only one you know." He says Gillems is a rare player.

ALISON MATHEWS

SCHOOL: Northside Christian.

HT: 6-0. YR: Sr. POS: C.

COMMENT: Led the Mustangs to the Class 2A state final four. Times second-team all-county. . . . Was second in the county with an average of 18.3 points and 11.1 rebounds a game. . . . A dominant inside force who can play at any level.

COACH DEAN SOLES SAYS: "She will be our main person. For us to be good, she is going to have to score a lot."

TIA MILLER

SCHOOL: Boca Ciega.

HT: 6-2.YR: So.POS: F.

COMMENT: First-team Times all-county selection as a freshman last season. . . . Averaged 14 points per game. . . . Slimmed down slightly in the off-season to give even more quickness to her inside power game. . . . Is already getting looks from Division I schools.

COACH HARRY ELIFSON SAYS: "Tia's gifted . . . and has the moves of a 2 or 3 player."

SHINIKKI WHITING

SCHOOL: Clearwater.

HT: 5-9. YR: Jr. POS: G.

COMMENT: First-team all-state last year. . . . Times Pinellas County Player of the Year. . . . Led the Tornadoes to the Class 5A state title game. . . . Scored 1,065 points in two years. . . . Team highs in average (17.7 ppg), field goals made (200), three pointers (23), free throw percentage (68), assists (170) and steals (167).

COACH TOM SHANEYFELT SAYS: He feels "blessed" to have her and that she is "obviously very talented." Last year he said Whiting was "one of the best in the nation."

MOLLY WORRALL

SCHOOL: Clearwater.

HT: 6-2. YR: Sr. POS: C.

COMMENT: First-team Times all-county selection last season. . . . Helped lead the Tornadoes to the Class 5A state title game and No. 5 state ranking. . . . Averaged 14.8 points and 9.1 rebounds as a junior. . . . Has orally committed to Austin Peay State University.

COACH TOM SHANEYFELT SAYS: "Molly is a force in the middle who just keeps getting better and better."
