Viola player Nokuthula Ngwenyama became an overnight celebrity after a performance in May 1994 at a House committee hearing in Washington as an advocate of continued funding for the National Endowment for the Arts. She was at Tarpon Springs Middle School on Tuesday, performing for students and sharing her musical expertise. Ngwenyama will perform at 8 tonight at the Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center.
