NOTES: Gil Morgan became the tour's youngest winner at 50 years and 11 days, closing with 5-under 66 last year for a one-stroke victory over Jim Colbert and Chi Chi Rodriguez. Sunday, Bob Eastwood won the Raley's Gold Rush at El Dorado Hills, Calif., finishing with 4-under 68 for a two-stroke victory over Rick Acton.

NOTES: The U.S. LPGA beat the Japan LPGA 21{-14{ last year for its 12th straight victory in the team event. Karrie Webb was selected the tournament MVP, beating Ayako Okamoto 68-73 and teaming with Michelle McGann and Joan Pitcock to win best-ball matches. Last event, Juli Inkster won the World Championship of Women's Golf two weeks ago in South Korea, holing a 12-foot birdie putt on the first hole of a playoff with Kelly Robbins and Helen Alfredsson.
