The Rev. Henry J. Lyons has pleaded guilty and paid $310 in fines after being cited by inspectors for a dirty swimming pool and a poor paint job at a $700,000 house he owns with a convicted embezzler, computerized Pinellas County records show.
Lyons, president of the National Baptist Convention USA Inc., and Bernice V. Edwards were cited for the two housing code violations Oct. 13 after two inspectors visited the Tierra Verde home. Lyons paid the fine Oct. 23, the records show.
Lyons had 10 days to pay the fine. He also must fix the problems. By paying the fine he avoided having to appear Friday at a scheduled arraignment.
