BAUER, HELEN Z., 82, of Seminole, formerly of Port Richey, died Monday (Oct. 27, 1997) at home. Born in Pittsburgh, she moved to Seminole one year ago from Port Richey. She was self-employed. Survivors include her husband, Regis W.; a daughter, Patricia Amos, St. Petersburg; two sisters, Marie Carrozza, South Carolina, and Dorothea Nix, Pennsylvania; and one granddaughter. CALHOUN, PAUL A. SR., 88, of Port Richey, died Friday (Oct. 24, 1997) at James A. Haley VA Medical Center, Tampa. Born in Hosford, he came here one year ago from Cairo, Ga. He was a retired rural mail carrier for the postal service and was Baptist. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Stella; four sons, Claude, Danville, Va., and Paul, Bill and Kenneth, all of Orlando; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. CLOS, LUCILLE MARIE, 85, of Spring Hill, died Thursday (Oct. 30, 1997) at home. Born in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., she came here 17 years ago from Detroit. She was the owner of a grocery store and a member of Immaculate Conception Old Roman Catholic Church, Hudson. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8681. Survivors include three sons, Donald F., Gerald M. and James R., all of St. Clair Shores, Mich.; a daughter, Joan M. Couchman Browning, Spring Hill; a sister, Agnes Hemsen, Detroit; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. National Cremation Society, Brooksville.

NIELSEN, CHRISTINA, 94, of Bedford, N.Y., died Thursday (Oct. 30, 1997). Born in New York City, she was a winter resident to Holiday for the past three years. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons, Edwin, Holiday, and Robert, Bedford; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Dignified Funeral Alternatives, New Port Richey.

ROMIG, MARVIN W., 78, of Hudson, died Wednesday (Oct. 29, 1997) at Spring Hill Regional Hospital. Born in Weatherly, Pa., he came here 20 years ago from Houston. He was a foreman for Westinghouse Electric and an elder for Clifton Heights Presbyterian Church. He was a member of St. Mark's Presbyterian Church, a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Masonic Lodge 236. Survivors include his wife, Betty; a son, Charles, Philippines; and a daughter, Diane, New Port Richey. Wellwood Funeral Home, Hudson.

WRIGHT, STEVEN J., 20, of New Port Richey, died Tuesday (Oct. 28, 1997) at home. Born in Manchester, Conn., he came here four years ago from Windsor Locks, Conn. He was the owner of Wright Electronics, Port Richey, and a member of Evangel Assembly of God Church, New Port Richey. Survivors include a daughter, Brianna, New Port Richey; his parents, Kevin and Pamela Wright, New Port Richey; two brothers, David and Mark, both of New Port Richey; his paternal grandparents, George and Marilyn Wright, Enfield, Conn.; his maternal grandparents, Richard and Viola Gates, Enfield; and two great-grandmothers, Evelyn Davis, New Port Richey, and Iris Gray, Vinton, Va.
