Pinellas County library card holders are now able to use resources at St. Petersburg Junior College's five libraries. The college and the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative have finalized an agreement that allows card holders in the cooperative's 13 municipal libraries and SPJC's students to share libraries. The agreement went into effect last week, said Susan Anderson, SPJC's director of libraries. Administrators had been talking of such an agreement for years, but the idea became more serious last year after Seminole's library teamed up with SPJC's new Seminole campus. The agreement gives SPJC students and cooperative library members access to a total of about 2.6-million volumes, 5,000 newspapers and magazines, and more than 50,000 videos.
