BULLS GET RINGS

Scottie Pippen cried as he accepted his NBA championship ring, Jerry Krause was booed and Michael Jordan promised there will be another ceremony a year from now.

Chicago unveiled a championship banner for the fifth time in seven years as fireworks exploded and fans roared during a 20-minute celebration before the home opener against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Pippen, almost traded by general manager Krause during the off-season, choked back tears as he took the microphone and thanked fans for 10 years of "wonderful moments." Pippen has said he will leave as a free agent after this season.
