BEHNKE, KATHERINE T., 84, of Spring Hill, died Thursday (Oct. 30, 1997) at Eastbrooke Health Care Center. She was born in Chicago and was the retired owner and operator of a tavern. Survivors include a sister, Mary Zydek, Chicago. Turner Funeral Home, Brooksville.

HAMILTON, MARTIN J., 81, of Spring Hill, died Saturday (Nov. 1, 1997) at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he came here five years ago from Summit, N.J. He was a retired vice president and general manager for Pfaff and Kendall, Newark, N.J., and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. He was a member of the Richmond County Yacht Club, Staten Island, N.Y., and the Ocean Reef Club, Key Largo, and was a retired member of the National Guard 7th Regiment of New York City. Survivors include his wife, Isabelle; two daughters, Martina Hamilton, Madison, Conn., and Isabelle Thumm, Berwyn, Pa.; a brother, Frank, Spring Hill; a sister, Claire McKay, Sayville, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. KONECNY, INGRID A., 84, of Beverly Hills, died Wednesday (Oct. 29, 1997) at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness. Born in Sweden, she came here 10 years ago from Chicago. She was Lutheran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10087. Survivors include her husband, Anton J.; three daughters, Patricia Leslie, Oak Forest, Ill., Barbara Sparkowski, Schaumburg, Ill., and Joan Dailidonis, Chicago; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. MALONEY, GEORGE RAYMOND, 66, of Inverness, died Thursday (Oct. 30, 1997) at home. Born in Boston, he came here five years ago from Weymouth, Mass. He was a retired senior custodian for the Boston school system and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, a member of the Elks Lodge, Weymouth, a charter member of the South Boston Yacht Club and a member of Elks Lodge 2522 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4337, both of Inverness. Survivors include his wife, Joanne; a daughter, Deborah L. Hardman, Brockton, Mass.; and two grandchildren. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
