FBI finds money stolen in armored car robbery

Federal agents searched a storage locker in Tallahassee and recovered $1.74-million stolen during a $2.7-million armored car robbery, the FBI said Sunday.

"We conducted a search yesterday at a storage facility in Tallahassee and recovered $1,740,640," FBI agent Dan Vogel said from Oklahoma City.

Vogel said FBI agents also found about $300,000 in the Fort Lauderdale hotel room of Bobby O'Neal Negri Jr., 30, of Prague, Okla., and Michael Brandon Lutz, 23, of Claremore, Okla., when they were arrested Friday night after authorities got a tip from the television series America's Most Wanted.

The two men were jailed at the Federal Detention Center in Miami over the weekend, Vogel said, and are scheduled to make an appearance in federal court today.
