Bucs coach Tony Dungy on his team's victory:

"Well, it wasn't as artistic a win as we would have hoped for. We were at the point where we needed a win and we got one. That says a lot about these guys. We had chances in the last couple of games to come from behind and win, but we didn't. Today we did that and made some plays when we needed to despite the mistakes we inflicted on ourselves."

Bucs DT Warren Sapp on the game:

"We had to get it done today. We hadn't won in over a month. We really needed this one on the road. It's very tough to win on the road in the NFL. I'm very proud of the way we finished this game. It taught us a lesson that we can come from behind on the road and win."

Colts coach Lindy Infante on his team's loss:

"I know how we lost it _ we didn't play well enough to win. There was a dropped pass, a missed kick. We had too many individual plays that went awry on us."

Colts TE Ken Dilger on his team's ninth consecutive loss:

"We get the momentum and then we lose it. We find ways to lose instead of finding ways to put a lid on it."

Colts and former FSU Seminole FB Zack Crockett:

"We were so close, but yet so far. It's a sad situation. We have to pull this thing together and get a win next week. We did a lot of great things today, but it was the little things that hurt us. The little things are the things that count."

Colts and former Bucs LB Elijah Alexander on the play of his defense:

"We went out to San Diego and had a very poor showing. We knew that was not our defense. We're not going to allow a team to run up and down the field on us. We controlled their running game for a large portion of the day."

Bucs FB Mike Alstott on the state of the Colts:

"We went through the same thing last year, and we knew they were not going to let someone come in here and roll all over them. We didn't come in here expecting an easy game."

Colts QB Kelly Holcomb on his fourth-quarter fumble:

"We had a bootleg called. I was trying to give them a good fake and hit Lamont (Warren)'s ribs. You can't fumble the ball down there and that is all on me. I have to make the play and I didn't. We would have come out of there with at least three points."

Bucs DE Chidi Ahanotu on the recovery of Holcomb's fumble:

"There was a lot of tension in the huddle but we knew we had to step up and make the play. At that point we were just hoping for overtime. Kelly (Holcomb) had played a great game for them. He stuck to his game plan and did a great job. But in the end, I was able to step in and make a play. I was very lucky to get that chance on the road, but we'll just appreciate it and go on to Atlanta next week."

Bucs PK Michael Husted on his game-winning field goal:

"I was very eager to get out there and make the field goal considering how bad things went last week. I just wanted to show this team I can come through in the clutch. I had a good week of practice and I went out very relaxed today."

Ahanotu on the win:

"We are 6-3, which isn't bad. We're right there in the hunt. We're going to go home and celebrate this one."

Bucs WR Karl Williams on the win:

"It's 11 guys doing the job. When you have 11 guys dedicated to winning, big plays seem to happen."
