The Florida State Questers are sponsoring a 22nd annual, fall convention from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Spartan Manor, Massachusetts Avenue, New Port Richey.
The convention includes a luncheon.
Retired Judge Edward Bergstrom of New Port Richey will be keynote speaker; his speech is on the role of women in the Civil War.
Eleanor Schoepflin of the Clayton Woods Chapter 808 of Bayonet Point, state second vice president, and Jody Stanley of Ponce de Leon Chapter 183 of Seminole, state treasurer, will conduct workshops for chapter
program chairs and treasurers.
Lee Chapter 987 of Leesburg is the hostess chapter. Clayton Woods Chapter is in charge of the Gift Shoppe, where members will sell items in the theme of "Make It, Bake It, Grow It or Sew It."
The Questers are a private, non-profit, international organization dedicated to the study of antiques and to funding the preservation and restoration of existing memorials, historical buildings and landmarks.
