The new $1.38-million clubhouse at the Dunedin Country Club opens this weekend with festivities for club members. An open house for the public will be later in the month. The country club leases the golf course from the city. The renovated clubhouse, which also is used for community events, was paid for by the club members. It has a 250-seat dining room and is slightly larger than the one demolished in May.
TRUNKFUL OF SPIRIT: Amanda Davis, a Dunedin High junior, waves to people along Pinehurst Road Wednesday during the school's Homecoming Parade. Amanda was in the trunk of a car decorated as a vacation destination for the "Passport to Paradise" parade.
