Friends of the Feathered sets a benefit fish fry

Duke's Marina, 1029 Baillie's Bluff Road, Holiday is hosting a benefit fish fry and barbecue every Saturday in November with proceeds going to Friends of the Feathered, a non-profit organization conducted by Al and Carol Tallman who have helped more than 1,750 birds and 97 mammals to recovery since 1996.

Fried fish and barbecue with potato salad, slaw or macaroni salad and sweet potato casserole will be served from 5 to 8 p.m. for $6.50 for adults and $3.50 for children. Sims Henry or Jeff Lewis will provide musical entertainment until 9 p.m. Call Bebee or David Daniel at 937-9737.
