SCHOOLS: Seffner Armwood, Durant, Gibsonton East Bay, Jenkins, Gulf, Jefferson, Lakeland, Land O'Lakes, Plant, Ridgewood, River Ridge, Springstead, Tarpon Springs.

TO ADVANCE TO REGIONALS: Top six teams and top 15 individuals.

WHAT TO WATCH: Caroline Annis should lead Plant to its ninth consecutive girls district title. . . . Depth is key for both Ridgewood's boys and girls, who swept the Sunshine Athletic Conference championships. . . . Freshman Barbara Carr leads Gulf's girls as SAC champion. . . . Gulf coach Dean Lofton said he'll sit out senior Scott Myers and sophomore Joey Harrill, his No. 2 and 5 runners, respectively, because of shin splints. . . . Sophomores Chris Weerts and Brad Winterroth might surprise for Land O'Lakes boys. And keep an eye on senior Kate Benson and junior Bree Kunkel.

WHEN: Girls, 9 a.m.; Boys, 9:45 a.m.

SCHOOLS: Tampa Blake, Central, Hernando, Hudson, Tampa Jesuit, Seminole Osceola, Palm Harbor University, Pasco, Tampa Robinson, Tampa Sickles, Tampa Wharton, Zephyrhills.

WHAT TO WATCH: Coach Beverly Ledbetter said the Pasco boys could finish as high as fifth. Check out junior Daniel Bailey, who had a top-20 finish the last time he ran this course. . . . Coach Keith Taylor said his Hudson girls should advance, led by senior Amy Schmidt and sophomore Fiana Gunekel. . . . Zephyrhills coach Robin Wilks said junior Janika Herr, an exchange student from Germany, is peaking at the right time.
