Fund-raiser offers a view of gown worn of Princess Diana

Local residents have the opportunity Saturday to glimpse one of the gowns from the private collection of dresses worn by Princess Diana.

The fund-raiser, "An Evening to Spoil All Your Senses," will be presented by Art & Java Gallery and Coffee House. The event will be at the home of Cindy Williams, 707 Spottis Woode Lane in Clearwater, from 7:30 p.m. to midnight.

Admission is $35 a person, with proceeds to be donated to the Resource Center for Women Foundation. Guests are asked to park at the Church of the Ascension, 701 Orange Ave., and a valet parking attendant will drive them to the program.

The gown is on loan by the People's Princess Charitable Foundation and collection owner Maureen Rorech.

The program will include an auction of $1,500 in fine jewelry.
