Two motorists injured in accident

A Largo firefighter cleans debris near a 1990 Mazda minivan involved in a collision Thursday that injured two people at Ulmerton Road and Seminole Boulevard. Largo police spokeswoman Allison Griffiths said the accident occurred at 10 a.m., when a 1994 GMC van driven by Rose Holman Taylor, 61, of 1842 Oak Park Drive S in Clearwater, made a left turn from Ulmerton Road on a red turn signal and hit the Mazda minivan driven east on Ulmerton by Thuy Thi Nguyen, 55, of 2971 Sandalwood Drive in Clearwater. Griffiths said the collision caused the second van to crash into a 1998 Dodge van driven by Jane Koskubar, 61, of 12674 Seminole Blvd., who was going north on Seminole Boulevard. Nguyen was taken to Columbia-Largo Medical Center, where she was listed in stable condition. Taylor was treated and released. The driver of the third van was not injured. Taylor charged with violation of a traffic signal.
