Hospice volunteers honored

Hernando-Pasco Hospice volunteers recently were honored at the annual Volunteer Recognition Banquet. 425 volunteers and their guests were treated to a luncheon followed by entertainment featuring John and Mary Kay Wilson. Here is a list of the honorees:

Olga Selinsky, outstanding patient volunteer; Ida Fiwek, outstanding community service volunteer; Alicia Kirk, outstanding administrative volunteer; and Margaret Thomas, outstanding craft volunteer.

Outstanding star volunteers: Bernice Baker, Esther Bauerle, Lois Bestercy, Henry Borger, Frank Carroll, Bernice Cencewizki, Carol Coleman, Irene Doscheer, Mary Ellen Elovski, Barbara Fujimoto, Virginia Horasanian, Bette Kosatko, Liz Lombardo, Bitsie Quinn, Fran Robertson, Erika Roth, Beverly Rutelonis, Phil Schaub, Marge Shipley and Helene Zrimsek.

Toltz joins fraternity

Jessica B. Toltz of Spring Hill recently was initiated as a sister of the Delta Beta chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha Women's Fraternity at Florida Southern College, Lakeland. A graduate of Central High School, Toltz is a freshman majoring in Christian education. She plans to go into youth ministry.
