BLAKE, HARRIETT M., 84, of Inverness, died Friday (April 24, 1998) at home. She came here 15 years ago from her native Buffalo, N.Y., where she was retired owner of Zahnd's Swiss Bakery. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Fitzpatrick, Inverness, and Linda Krause, Syracuse, N.Y.; a brother, Donald Smith, Hamburg, N.Y.; and six grandchildren. Charles E. D'AMICO, SALVATORE "SAM," 71, of Spring Hill, died Friday (April 24, 1998). Born in New York, he came here seven years ago from Long Island, N.Y. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and the Elks Lodge. Survivors include two daughters, Leslie Axelrod, Virginia, and Carrie Michalski, Connecticut; a brother, Santo, Spring Hill; and three grandchildren. FURNER, JOHN W. "JACK," 80, of Timber Pines, Spring Hill, died Thursday (April 23, 1998) at home. Born in Chicago, he came here 12 years ago from Illinois and was an engineer for Western Electric and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member and elder of Grace Presbyterian Church and a member of Egypt Shrine Temple, the Spring Hill Shrine Club, Masonic Blue Lodge, Rockhill, N.C., Elks Lodge 2520, Aripeka, the Timber Pines and Spring Hill Golf Clubs and the SPEBSQSOA. Survivors include his wife, Helen; a son, James, Seminole; a stepson, William McLaughlin, Plano, Texas; a daughter, Catherine Moore, Reston, Va.; a stepdaughter, Cheryll Adams, Muncie, Ind.; four grandchildren; and agreat-granddaughter. PEARMAN, HELEN J., 66, of Spring Hill, died Thursday (April 23, 1998) at home. Born in Flat Lick, Ky., she came here two years ago from Dayton, Ohio, and was a retired deputy bailiff for the court system. She was a Baptist and a member of the Republican Club, Dayton. Survivors include her husband, Glenn; two daughters, Glenda Aquino, Nashua, N.H., and Debora Johnson, Dayton; three brothers, Charles Hunter, Evarts, Ky., Andrew Hunter, Frankfort, Ky., and Thurman Hunter, Pineville, Ky; two sisters, Lois Eaton, Louisville, Ky., and Betty Jane Mills, Pineville; and six grandchildren. SEE, JOHN E., 73, of Homosassa, died Thursday (April 23, 1998) at home. Born in Greenville, Pa., he came here 15 years ago from Largo. He was a retired auto body worker for Dimmitt Toyota, Inverness, and an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. He was a Protestant and a life member of the VFW, Homosassa, and Cootie Civitan. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Mae; two daughters, Loenna Brown, Cross City, and Nancy Mitchell, Newberry; a sister, Neva Hebner, Lakeland; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. WOOD, STEPHEN HARRY, 70, of Spring Hill, died Thursday (April 23, 1998) at Columbia Regional Medical Center Oak Hill. Born in Fieldsboro, Pa., he came here 12 years ago from Seaside Heights, N.J., and was a retired truck driver for the state of New Jersey and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Northcliffe Baptist Church, Spring Hill. Survivors include his wife, Nancy; two sons, Dwight, Columbia, S.C., and Mark, Wilmington, Del.; five stepsons, Robert, Michael, Scott, Raymond and Matthew Kelly, all of Florida; two stepdaughters, Colleen Sesera and Mary Mihan, both of Florida; and 16 grandchildren.
