United (MLS) 1997-98, Tampa Bay Mutiny (MLS) 1998.

NATIONAL TEAM CAREER: Played on 1994 U.S. World Cup team and is expected to be a part of this year's team. Has played 36 times for U.S. national team, including seven games this season, and has seven goals.

NOTES: Had seven goals and nine assists in 1984 and was NASL Rookie of the Year. At USF, he was an All-America in 1982 and '83 and had 40 goals and 29 assists in two years. In nine seasons with six English League clubs, he had 58 goals in 237 games. Had three goals and three assists to help D.C. win second straight MLS Cup in 1997. Had two goals in five games for D.C. this season. Has had seven knee surgeries but has been healthy the past two seasons. Older brother Steve played for Tampa Bay Rowdies from 1977-81 and 1984.
