DAR elects new officers

The Pithlochaskotee Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution has elected new officers for two-year terms.

Priscilla Senn will serve as regent; Helen Aker, vice regent; Mary Beale Wright, second vice regent; Ruth Bahr, treasurer; Elizabeth Bradley, registrar; Catherine Eckhardt, chaplain; Elizabeth Thorogood, recording secretary; Phyllis Seaman, corresponding secretary; Lillian Kreps, historian; Dorothy Snediker, librarian and Erald Jarvis, Jean Koenitzer, Margaret Monroe and Margaret Toscano, directors.

The DAR is a patriotic organization based on genealogy and history.

Ernie Holzhauer will talk on "The History of Pasco County" at a meeting on May 14. For information on membership call 856-5408 or 863-6862.
